Job summary

Wee Waa High School, part of the NSW Department of Education, is seeking a School Psychologist to join our counselling team. You will provide counselling and assessment services to students, supporting learning and wellbeing within a collaborative environment.

You will work with primary and high school students across local communities, receive supervision, and contribute to ongoing professional development while aligning with the Department’s priorities.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (General or Provisional).
• Working with Children Check clearance (NSW).
• Current driver’s license and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide counselling and psychological services to students, individually and in groups.
• Administer cognitive, social, emotional and behavioral assessments and report results.
• Collaborate with staff and external agencies to support student wellbeing.
• Engage in supervision and professional development within a multidisciplinary team.
• Work across primary and high schools to extend reach and impact.
