Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. in Urbana, IL seeks an Account Executive to grow our rural territory through hospital and clinic referrals. You will educate providers about respiratory products, manage the full sales cycle, and build lasting relationships with customers in a fast-paced environment.

Base salary starts at $45k per year with uncapped commission; experienced candidates may earn more. Travel is required to visit referral sources, with a supportive team and robust bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in respiratory or medical sales preferred.
• Leadership experience in other areas or fields is a plus.
• 2+ years in B2B or healthcare sales preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Independent & resourceful; thrive on autonomy and accountability.
• Excellent communicator; able to simplify complex topics and build trust.
• Willingness to travel; in-person visits across rural territory.
• CRM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and grow referral relationships within hospitals, physician clinics, and other service areas.
• Educate healthcare providers about Rotech's products, services, and value-based care.
• Own your rural territory: prospect, present, and close new accounts.
• Partner with our local team to ensure seamless service.
• Report sales activity and territory trends to management via call planner.
• In-person visits to referral sources within the assigned territory.
• Attend in-person Sales Academy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
