Job summary

The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine is seeking a Program Coordinator for Rural GME & Simulation to lead NRGMEC operations across Nevada. This role requires coordinating technical assistance, workforce development, and simulation-based education, while serving as the liaison among hospitals, educators, consultants, and community partners.

Working with the Executive Director and Medical Director, you will oversee grant-funded activities, help develop sustainable workforce solutions,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and two years of related work experience; OR a master’s degree and one year of related work experience.
• Experience in program coordination or program management; healthcare administration, workforce development, healthcare education, graduate medical education, simulation programs, or a related field.
• Nevada driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership and day-to-day management for the NRGMEC.
• Coordinate statewide rural technical assistance services, workforce development initiatives, and simulation-based education programs.
• Oversee consortium operations and stakeholder communications.
• Serve as the primary liaison among healthcare organizations, consortium leadership, consultants, educators, and community partners.
• Support delivery of grant-funded activities and development of sustainable workforce solutions.
