Job summary

Pharmacy1st Health in Wisconsin is hiring a Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations, regulatory compliance, and patient-centred care in rural clinics co-located with pharmacies.

You will lead a team of pharmacists and technicians, manage inventory, ensure accurate dispensing, and collaborate with clinicians to optimize outcomes while expanding our service footprint and ensuring profitable, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Wisconsin Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 1 year of community or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of pharmacy regulations and insurance billing.
• Commitment to excellence in patient care and team development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, including inventory and workflow.
• Provide exceptional patient care through accurate dispensing, counselling, and medication management.
• Mentor and manage team members (pharmacist, technicians, interns, etc).
• Implement quality assurance, safety, and performance improvement programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, family nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support business growth through effective management of pharmacy services, including immunizations and clinical programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for audits, inspections, and internal reporting.
• Ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently, profitably, and in line with company goals.
