Job summary

The Hometown Pharmacy in Wisconsin is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations, mentor pharmacists and staff, and maintain regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional patient care.

You will lead a team, optimize workflows, and expand clinical services such as MTM and immunizations, partnering with the Director of Clinical Services to drive quality, safety, and community health in a growing independent pharmacy network.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
• Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Wisconsin Immunization Certification.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily pharmacy operations with a focus on patient safety and accountability.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop pharmacists, technicians, and staff.
• Create staffing plans balancing patient service and operational performance.
• Conduct performance evaluations and ongoing coaching; recognize achievements.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company pharmacy regulations.
• Monitor quality metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain pharmacy SOPs; educate team on workflow changes and regulatory updates.
• Train and mentor staff to achieve individual and team success.
• Collaborate with physicians to optimize patient outcomes; grow MTM and clinical programs.
• Partner with leadership to expand immunization services and other patient-focused programs.
