Pharmacy1st Health in Ukiah, CA is seeking a licensed pharmacist to lead and optimize rural clinic pharmacy services. The role focuses on compliant operations, high-quality patient care, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to achieve better outcomes.
Responsibilities include managing inventory, dispensing accuracy, and implementing safety and quality programs, with opportunities to support immunizations and clinical initiatives.
Oversee and ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
Manage the day-to-day pharmacy operations, including inventory, and workflow.
Provide exceptional patient care through accurate dispensing, counselling, and medication management.
Support team members (pharmacist, technicians, interns, etc)
Implement quality assurance, safety, and performance improvement programs.
Collaborate with physicians, family nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Support business growth through effective management of pharmacy services, including immunizations and clinical programs.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation for audits, inspections, and internal reporting.
Ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently, profitably, and in line with company goals.
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Wisconsin Board of Pharmacy.
Minimum of 1 year of community or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Demonstrated understanding of pharmacy regulations and insurance billing.
