Job summary

Signature Aviation is seeking an Airside Experience Specialist to be the face of our private aviation terminal, delivering a seamless and welcoming experience for guests, crew, and aircraft. You will blend hospitality with hands-on ground support, operating equipment, fueling, de-icing, and catering services, while maintaining safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED – required.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Able to pass background checks and airport checks.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Good vision; color vision testing may be required.
• Valid state driver’s license; CDL may be required locally.
• Ability to follow directions and use good judgment.
• Preferred: 3–6 months experience in aviation or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to conduct airside operations safely and efficiently per SOPs.
• Collaborate with guests, crew, vendors, and aircraft staff to meet service needs (fueling, de-icing, lavatory, power, water, parking, marshalling, catering, towing).
• Prepare for arriving/departing aircraft and identify open tasks; voice safety concerns when needed.
• Operate and drive ground service equipment (fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, GPUs, tugs, stairs).
• Load/unload luggage and cargo; assist guests with transportation as needed.
• Provide professional guest service and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
• Maintain safe, clean ramps and operations; ensure fuel handling and documentation accuracy.
• Follow safety, security, and guest service requirements; stop unsafe work and report concerns.
