Job summary

HID Global Corporation in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Support Engineer I to deliver technical assistance across phone, email, and remote channels, resolving customer issues and guiding proper use of HID products.

You will document interactions in Salesforce, maintain knowledge of offerings, support RTLS environments in healthcare and industrial settings, and contribute to SLA compliance and escalation processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; AA/AS degree in a technical subject preferred.
• 1–2 years of RTLS or IoT experience highly preferred.
• Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with healthcare or enterprise software customers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve HID product questions and technical issues via phone, email, and remote sessions.
• Troubleshoot RTLS issues such as location accuracy and device communication.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HID products and support procedures.
• Document customer interactions in Salesforce and ensure SLA compliance.
• Escalate to Engineering as needed and participate in after-hours support.
