Job summary

HID is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to deliver high-quality support for HID products via phone, email, and remote sessions in the Eden Prairie, MN area. You will resolve issues, document interactions, and maintain product knowledge across healthcare and industrial RTLS use cases.

You will support escalation to Engineering, ensure SLA compliance, and participate in after-hours rotations for critical incidents while helping customers optimize HID solutions and workflows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• AA/AS degree in a technical subject and/or 1-2 years of RTLS or IoT field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve HID product questions and technical issues via telephone, email, and remote sessions.
• Troubleshoot RTLS-related issues including location accuracy and device connectivity.
• Maintain current knowledge of HID product offerings and support procedures.
• Provide accurate product guidance on use, features, benefits and value.
• Document customer interactions and resolutions in Salesforce CRM.
• Ensure SLA compliance and effective handoffs to Engineering.
