Job summary

Opus Inspection, Inc. in partnership with RAPIDPASS Virginia is seeking a field emissions sensor operator. Schedule: Mon-Thu 11am-9pm, Pay: $22/hour. Role requires long remote-location work, occasional heavy lifting, and independent work under remote supervision.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating a remote emissions sensor, collecting data, and maintaining logs and vehicle equipment. Candidates need basic technical knowledge and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience driving.
• Verbal and written English communication skills.
• Windows OS, e-mail, and word processing computer skills.
• DOS command knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Daily setup, operation and breakdown of a remote on-road emissions sensor.
• Work long hours in a mobile unit without a break room.
• Compile and deliver collected emissions data periodically as instructed.
• Support data processing activities as needed.
• Maintain performance and appearance of the company vehicle and related equipment.
• Maintain service logs on the vehicle and activity logs for data collection.
• Keep safety as a top priority by following procedures.
• Follow local codes and safety procedures, erect signage and cones for setup.
• Maintain contact with administrator/supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by administrator/supervisor.

Job Summary

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 11am-9pm

Pay: $22/hour

Relies on basic manual/technical skills and works independently under remote supervision. Requires long periods of time alone in remote locations and confined space. Requires heavy lifting (75 lbs+) and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Work long hours in a mobile unit without a break room
