Qualifications

• NBRC-registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) entry allowed; must obtain RRT within 4 months.
• Currently licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in Michigan or eligible to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care for adult and pediatric patients across units including Emergency Department, PACU and adult critical care.
• Perform comprehensive respiratory therapy, diagnostic monitoring, ventilator management, emergency airway support, and response to Code Blue, MRT, and PRT calls.
• Assess respiratory status and create individualized care plans with approved protocols; document daily charges and maintain infection control practices.
• Support pulmonary rehabilitation by supervising exercise sessions and coordinating home respiratory equipment evaluations.
• Conduct pulmonary function testing and related responsibilities as trained.
