Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide care for all ages on general and pediatric units and in select departments. This role includes ventilator management, emergency response, and diagnostic testing, with opportunities to lead during Code Triage events.

Requirements include NBRC RRT certification, CRT eligibility with RRT within 4 months, and Michigan licensure or eligibility. Schedule: 7a–7:30p, 36 hours per week; $27,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Certified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC is required.
• CRT must be registry‑eligible; RRT must be obtained within 4 months to stay in RRT classification.
• Currently licensed or eligible to apply in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive respiratory care for adult and pediatric patients, including ventilator management and emergency airway support.
• Assess respiratory status and develop care plans with approved protocols; document daily charges and maintain infection control practices.
• Support pulmonary rehabilitation by supervising sessions and coordinating home respiratory evaluations.
• Conduct pulmonary function and diagnostic testing including spirometry and related studies.
• Assist with cardiac diagnostic services and leadership tasks, including EKGs and staff orientation.
