Job summary

Munson Healthcare in Michigan seeks a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide care across pediatric and adult populations. Responsibilities include ventilator management, emergency response, documentation, and collaboration with the care team in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires NBRC RRT and Michigan licensure (or eligibility). A CRT registry-eligible pathway is available with RRT within 4 months.

Qualifications

• RRT through the NBRC is required.
• CRT registry-eligible may enter the job class – RRT must be obtained within 4 months to remain RRT.
• Currently licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in Michigan or eligible to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive respiratory care for adult and pediatric patients using approved protocols.
• Assess respiratory status and develop individualized care plans with documentation and infection control practices.
• Support pulmonary rehabilitation by supervising exercises and coordinating home respiratory care.
• Conduct pulmonary function and diagnostic testing (where trained).
• Assist with cardiac diagnostic services and leadership tasks as needed.
