Munson Healthcare in northern Michigan seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care during night shifts across units including ED, PACU, and ICU as needed. This role requires NBRC RRT with Michigan license or eligibility; CRT registry-eligible allowed initially with RRT within 4 months.

Qualifications

• RRT credential required.
• CRT registry-eligible entry allowed; RRT must be obtained within 4 months.
• Licensed or eligible to apply in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive respiratory care for adult and pediatric patients, including ventilator management and emergency airway support.
• Assess respiratory status and develop care plans using approved protocols with accurate documentation.
• Support pulmonary rehabilitation and supervise patient education and equipment evaluations.
• Conduct pulmonary function testing and bronchial challenges as trained, including equipment maintenance.
• Assist with cardiac diagnostics and leadership tasks, including EKGs and staff coordination.
