Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ is hiring full-time Respiratory Therapists (RRT) for day shifts (36 hours/week, 3x12-hour shifts 6:00 am–6:30 pm) with a $3 weekend differential and a hire-on incentive up to $10,000.

You will provide respiratory care, perform diagnostic tests, manage ventilators, and collaborate with the care team. NBRC RRT credential and state license required; BLS; prior acute-care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree required.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required for new hires after Oct 1, 2015; license as required by state law.
• BLS required; driver license may be needed for Home Care.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required for Banner Home Care AZ.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care as prescribed by physicians.
• Manage mechanical ventilators and adjust settings to patient condition.
• Perform pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing as prescribed.
• Assess patients and document therapy and responses.
