Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree required.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• Current state license required.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Banner Registry positions require at least 1 year acute care hospital experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care as prescribed by physicians.
• Manage ventilators and optimize patient care to aid weaning.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.
• Perform pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing.
• Assess patients and adjust therapy as needed; document care.
• Collaborate with care teams to update care plans.
