Job summary

Mercy Health’s Sleep Center in Ohio seeks a Registered Polysomnography Tech (RPSGT) to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders under sleep center leadership. You will perform polysomnography, scoring, and related neurodiagnostic services to support physicians.

The role requires RPSGT or RST or SDS credential, BLS, HS diploma, and 1+ year experience in sleep/neurophysiology. Mercy Health offers competitive pay, benefits, tuition assistance, and ongoing education

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of experience in neurophysiology or sleep disorders medicine.
BLS certification preferred; required before patient care.

Responsibilities

Prepare patient, explain the procedure and select testing modalities; operate equipment to obtain diagnostic recordings.
Document detailed technical reports and review studies with physicians.
Administer neurodiagnostic procedures per protocols; monitor test quality.
Coordinate patient scheduling, handle payments, review charges, assist with office tasks.
Maintain continuing education to stay current in the neurodiagnostic field.
Perform sleep staging and event scoring per AASM guidelines.
Troubleshoot polysomnographic and office equipment.
