Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Polysomnography Technologist for their Boardman Sleep Center in Ohio. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive evaluations and treatments for sleep disorders, requiring expertise in operating polysomnographic equipment and adhering to established protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) certification.
• At least one year of experience in neurophysiology or sleep disorders medicine preferred.
• BLS Basic Life Support required before patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.
• Operate polysomnographic equipment and decipher normal from abnormal results.
• Administer neurodiagnostic procedures and troubleshoot equipment.

Skills

Proficient with computers, sleep equipment, devices and software

Accuracy with data entry and Microsoft Office

Comprehensive knowledge of guidelines pertaining to sleep medicine and testing

Analytical skills
