Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in the Right of Way industry.
• Understanding of laws, rules and policies related to right-of-way and real property acquisition.
• Ability to plan and organize workload with minimal supervision.
• Experience interpreting alignment sheets and plats.
• Strong oral and written communication; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Research, negotiate and elect to purchase land rights and easements for construction.
• Identify land ownership interests and permit requirements; obtain necessary permits.
• Oversee land-related legal issues, including transfers of titles and deeds.
• Prepare activity and project reports related to negotiations, settlements, and permits.
• Perform due diligence to ensure accuracy of land rights and address deficiencies.
• Serve as liaison with landowners/tenants on ownership, damages, and access.
• Review third-party development plans and ROW records for conflicts.
• Maintain status updates with Lead Agent or ROW Supervisor and ensure client procedures.
• Work in office or field as assigned; perform additional duties as needed.
