Job summary

Colonial Group seeks a Roving Property Manager to cover Boston/North Shore properties, overseeing all phases of property management during acquisitions and transitions. You will travel regionally, supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance and resident satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and LIHTC experience, plus effective communication with residents and agencies.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with property management, budgeting, housing agency regulations, and the LIHTC Program.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Yardi software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, flexible, creative, and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Fosters a positive, collaborative relationship with residents, prospects, employees, local communities, and agencies.
• Travel to Beacon communities within defined regions for up to several weeks at a time with hotel accommodations.
• Enforces and adheres to company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Meets weekly with property team of each assigned property.
• Meets weekly with Regional VP of the assigned property.
• Oversee all site management related programs, policies, plans, contracts and agreements.
