Job summary

Beacon Communities LLC is seeking a Roving Property Manager to cover Western and Central Massachusetts, including occasional travels to CT/NY. The role oversees all aspects of property management, budgets, leasing, and compliance while building strong communities.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in property management, familiarity with LIHTC and housing regulations, and strong leadership and communication skills. Travel and overnight stays are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge/experience in property management.
• Five years of related work experience; CPM/COS/C3P and LIHTC preferred.
• Familiar with property management, budgeting, housing agency regulations, LIHTC.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Yardi; strong communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Travel within Western and Central MA to manage properties, with overnight stays as needed.
• Ensure financial performance, condition, and marketability of assigned properties.
• Prepare operating budgets, reports, and capital needs plans.
• Oversee leasing, rent collection, and compliance with programs.
• Coordinate resident services, staff development, and regulatory adherence.
