Job summary

JES Holdings seeks a Roaming Property Manager to travel across regional sites and assist in leasing, budget monitoring, collections, reporting, and compliance with fair housing and affordable housing programs. Travel expenses may be reimbursed where applicable.

Responsibilities include leasing, compliance, rent collection, inspections, vendor supervision, and resident services, with on-site and regional training as required. Strong LIHTC and Real Page Onesite knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in affordable housing property management.
• Experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credit programs.
• Strong knowledge of Real Page Onesite.
• Strong knowledge of fair housing regulations.
• Proficient in auditing, training, and implementing standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to sites across the region to support operations.
• Assist with leasing, compliance, maintenance, resident concerns, rent collection and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations.
• Collect and deposit rent within 24 hours of collection; notify residents of delinquency.
• Provide outstanding resident service and resolve inquiries and work orders promptly.
• Maintain and build applicant wait lists for leasing processes.
• Conduct initial lease processes with certifications and annual recertifications for programs.
• Pass INSPIRE, State, and Government inspections; maintain company standards.
• Ensure vacant apartments are ready to lease quickly and market them diligently.
• Process applications for move-in/transfer and forward to Compliance for approval.
• Conduct inspections including unit turns, maintenance, and housekeeping checks.
• Supervise outside vendors.
• Walk properties daily and monitor conditions.
• Organize community activities per management agreements and leases.
• Be on-call for after-hours emergencies and training/conferences.
