Job summary

11Residential is seeking an Area Maintenance Technician to support multiple properties in the Seattle to Everett region with travel to other sites as needed. The role includes responding promptly to service requests, ensuring market-ready apartments, and maintaining property appearance to our high standards.

Primary responsibilities include unit turns, repairs, and routine inspections, with a monthly driving allowance of $500.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in property maintenance, general maintenance/construction, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements and use safety standards.
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete general maintenance tasks, including service requests, unit turns, and curb appeal in a timely manner.
• Respond, coordinate, and complete resident service requests with minimal callbacks.
• Complete make-ready activities for vacant units to meet standards and remove trash.
• Troubleshoot and repair major and minor mechanical systems.
• Communicate with on-site office team and update systems when work orders are completed.
• Conduct daily property walks to inspect exteriors, parking lots, and common areas.
• Ensure property and common areas are clean and appealing to residents.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Travel to various sites as needed.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies during and after hours.
• Fulfill any other duties assigned by management.
