Job summary

Westport Properties, Inc. is seeking dependable Maintenance Technicians to join our roving Maintenance Team. You will travel between properties to perform preventive and on-demand repairs, covering HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, flooring, painting and appliances.

You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to ensure homes are safe, clean, and ready for residents. The role includes on-call shifts and logs maintenance activities while supporting winter snow removal.

Qualifications

General maintenance skills across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, flooring, painting and appliance repair.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Able to use tablets for work orders and communication, basic typing/spelling.
EPA certification preferred or willing to obtain (exam fee reimbursement).
HVAC certification preferred or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

Travel between properties to handle maintenance and repairs.
Fix HVAC, plumbing, electrical, doors, flooring, landscaping, and related issues.
Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to keep operations smooth.
Prep units for new residents and perform ongoing upkeep on existing units.
Occasionally stay on-call ~every other week and assist with snow removal.
Maintain maintenance logs and support winter snow removal efforts.
