Aperto Property Management, Inc. is hiring a Roving Maintenance Technician for East Bay/Hayward, CA to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain multifamily properties to ensure a positive living experience. The role requires 2+ years hands-on maintenance in multifamily or LIHTC, with proficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances and carpentry.

HVAC/EPA certifications are a plus. Weekend and on-call rotation may be required; you will work with the property management team to support turnover

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily, LIHTC housing, or similar.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, appliances, and carpentry.

• Perform general maintenance duties including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs to keep properties in excellent condition.
• Respond to maintenance service requests promptly and prioritize work orders by urgency.

• Ensure safety protocols are followed and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with turnover repairs and preparing vacant units for new residents.
• Collaborate with property management and team members to ensure efficient operations and positive resident experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of hands‑on maintenance experience in multifamily, LIHTC housing, or a similar environment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, appliances, and general carpentry.

• Experience with HVAC certification, EPA certification, or other relevant maintenance credentials is a plus.
