Job summary

Aperto Property Management, Inc. is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for our Huntington Park, CA properties. You will perform general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs to keep the community in excellent condition.

Preferred candidates have 2+ years in multifamily maintenance, plus, English/Spanish is a plus. You will work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with opportunities for growth and a strong focus on resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on maintenance in multifamily housing or similar environment.
• Spanish/English language ability is a plus.
• Experience with 200+ unit properties is a plus.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• HVAC certification, EPA certification, or similar credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance duties (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repairs).
• Respond to service requests promptly and prioritize based on urgency.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify issues early.
• Maintain safety protocols and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Assist with turnover repairs and prepare vacant units for new residents.
• Collaborate with property management and team for efficient operations.

What You'll Do

• Perform general maintenance duties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.

What We're Looking For
