You’ll diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry issues, supervise junior maintenance staff, and coordinate through property management. This role emphasizes proactive inspections, rapid response to service requests, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of multifamily maintenance experience.
• Troubleshoot/repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry.
• HVAC/EPA credentials a plus.
• Experience with 100+ unit communities.
• Strong problem-solving and detail-oriented.
• Ability to prioritize in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Weekend/on-call emergency rotation.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Perform general maintenance duties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.
• Respond to maintenance service requests promptly, prioritizing work orders based on urgency and importance.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address any issues before they become major problems.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed and that the property complies with all health and safety regulations.
• Assist with turnover repairs and preparation of vacant units for new residents.
• Work closely with property management and other team members to ensure efficient operations and positive resident experience.

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in multifamily housing or a similar environment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and general carpentry.
• Experience with HVAC certification, EPA certification, or other relevant maintenance credentials is a plus.
• Experience with over 100+ unit communities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality.
• Weekend and periodic call-backs required. Availability to participate in on-call emergency rotation and respond to emergencies after hours.
