Job summary

Waste Pro USA is hiring a Dispatcher for the Rockwell, NC location. The role focuses on communicating with drivers, scheduling service, resolving route issues, and data entry for daily routing, tickets, and reports.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months in related work, with preferred experience in waste/transport logistics and call-center customer service. Office-based, with routine interaction across teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 6 months related experience.
• Experience in Waste industry, transportation, or logistics preferred.
• Customer service in a call center environment preferred.
• Strong telephone and 2-way radio skills; courteous communication.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office and typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contact between drivers and home base; dispatch drivers to calls.
• Assign routes and service tickets; close tickets daily.
• Plan daily route assignments for residential, roll-off and commercial drivers.
• Troubleshoot delivery issues and communicate service changes to customers.
• Answer calls and provide route information; coordinate with Sales, Supervisors.
• Communicate with maintenance and act as emergency contact for drivers.
• Enter driver and route data; close work orders from previous routes.
• Enter tickets in Tower and update productivity reports for supervisors.
• Distribute and maintain driver phones/radios; manage updates and charging.
• Assist with PPE inventory and Saturday work as needed.
