Job summary

Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. is seeking a Route Supervisor to oversee a team of drivers, ensuring safe, reliable service and adherence to company standards. You will coach, train, and evaluate staff while supporting management with hiring and performance monitoring.

This role involves planning daily routes, monitoring attendance, performing driver observations and vehicle inspections, and handling incidents. Must have a valid Class B CDL and DOT medical card, with willingness to work early shifts,

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; GED preferred.
• Prior management experience is preferred.
• 2+ years of truck driving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities and performance of route drivers.
• Train, coach, and direct employees to improve performance.
• Monitor and enforce safety standards and ensure compliance goals are met.
• Run routes as needed for absences or breakdowns.
• Plan, distribute, and follow-up on daily route assignments to service customers per standards.
• Investigate accidents, injuries, and property damage claims.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
