Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Route Supervisor to manage daily operations, coach a team of 6–20 drivers, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. The role requires a Class B CDL, strong organizational skills, and the ability to read maps for efficient route planning.

You will oversee performance, conduct driver observations, and assist with investigations while working a schedule that may include nights and weekends. This is a full-time position in the Kentucky area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have at least a valid Class B CDL.
• Knowledge of the local area with the ability to read maps.
• Knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Flexible hours; nights and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activities and performance of route drivers.
• Train, coach, and direct employees to improve performance.
• Monitor quality and safety standards and ensure compliance goals.
• Run routes as needed to cover absences or breakdowns.
• Monitor attendance and documentation related to performance.
