Job summary

Auto-Chlor System seeks a Route Supervisor in Van Nuys, CA to manage service routes, train teams, and ensure high-quality customer service. You will lead daily operations, handle scheduling, and support business development in a fast-paced field service role.

Responsibilities include supervising routes, maintaining safety standards, and driving customer satisfaction while coordinating with branch management. Excellent mechanical aptitude and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous supervisory or management experience (service, route-based, or similar industry preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with restaurant and hospitality clients throughout Van Nuys and surrounding areas.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
• Negotiate service agreement renewals and pricing adjustments.
• Upsell and cross-sell products and services to grow accounts.
• Collect payments and follow up to keep accounts current.
• Manage and optimize staff routes for efficiency and service quality.
• Train and mentor new team members.
• Ensure adherence to company service standards and schedules.
• Follow a 28-day service schedule and complete a 29-step preventive maintenance process on dish machines.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform mechanical repairs.
• Deliver and pick up cleaning chemicals.
• Train customers on proper chemical usage to control costs and improve performance.
• Report performance metrics to branch management.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service needs.
• Safely operate a company vehicle in various conditions, including evenings and inclement weather.
