Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage a dedicated route, deliver and pick up garments, and grow customer relationships. You’ll work independently and represent UniFirst with reliability and safety on the road.

You’ll earn via commission from day one, with a daytime Monday–Friday schedule and a focus on accuracy, customer satisfaction, and route growth. Training and development are provided to support success.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 with valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• DOT requirements, including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Relevant delivery/route experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage an Assigned Route: primary contact for customers, delivering and picking garments daily.
• Support Daily Operations: load/unload route trucks, ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Deliver Consistent Service: on-time deliveries and returns with high customer satisfaction.
• Grow Customer Relationships: upsell and introduce new garments and products.
• Drive Sales Growth: identify upsell opportunities on the route.
• Represent UniFirst on the Road: operate a company walk-in truck on designated routes.
• Engage in a Physically Active Role: indoor/outdoor work with focus on safety.
• Contribute to Service Excellence: troubleshoot issues, manage inventory, ensure safety standards.
• Maintain a Predictable Schedule: Monday–Friday daytime hours, no nights or weekends.
