Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage an assigned route, delivering and picking garments daily while building strong customer relationships. You will be on the road, loading/unloading, and ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries with a focus on service excellence.

You will drive sales through upselling, uphold safety standards, and maintain a predictable Monday–Friday daytime schedule on the same route and customers each week.

Qualifications

• Driver’s license and safe driving record (must be 21+)
• DOT compliance requirements including a physical exam
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required
• Strong customer service skills with ability to work independently
• Relevant experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus
• Tech-savvy and able to learn new technologies to improve operations
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. and stay on feet for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Manage an Assigned Route and be primary point of contact for customers
• Assist with loading/unloading route trucks and daily operations
• Deliver on-time, accurate service and returns with high customer satisfaction
• Grow customer relationships and upsell garments and products
• Identify opportunities to upsell and expand the route’s revenue
• Represent UniFirst on the road and maintain safety and professionalism
• Engage in a physically active role across indoor/outdoor environments
• Troubleshoot service issues, manage inventory, and ensure safety compliance
• Maintain a stable Monday–Friday daytime schedule on the same route
