Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Circleville, OH is looking for a Route Service Manager to deliver batteries and provide exceptional service to your dealer route. You will load/unload, maintain inventory, and build strong dealer relationships while ensuring displays are stocked and rotated per consignment terms.

This role requires strong communication, customer service experience, and a valid DOT medical card with a clean driving record. Occasional overnight routes and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Delivery and route experience preferred or demonstrated.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver batteries to dealers on your route in a safe, timely manner.
• Load/unload trucks and maintain accurate assets inventory.
• Build and maintain dealer relationships and manage accounts.
• Keep displays clean, full, and rotated per agreements.
• Manage sales, consignment, warranties, cash collection, and invoicing.
• Complete route paperwork promptly and accurately.
