Job summary

Interstate All Battery Center is seeking a Route Service Manager to deliver batteries and provide top-tier service to a defined dealer route. You will manage inventory, maintain dealer relationships, and ensure displays are stocked and rotated per agreements.

The role requires accuracy, reliability, and a focus on safety while coordinating with drivers and managers. You will load and unload vehicles, handle paperwork promptly, and participate in overtime or overnight routes as needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate (or equivalent).
• Read, write and compute basic math.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Minimum one year of delivery and customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of computers and tablets/scanners.
• Clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
• Ability to work overtime; overnight routes may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver batteries and service dealers on your route.
• Load/unload trucks and maintain assets.
• Establish and maintain dealer relationships.
• Keep displays full and rotated per consignment agreements.
• Manage dealer accounts: sales, consignment, warranties, cash collection, invoicing.
• Complete delivery/route paperwork promptly.
• Collect/return junk batteries to warehouse.
• Interact professionally with team members and customers.
• Follow driver program requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
