Job summary

Silver Eagle Beverages in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced Sales route merchandiser to pre-sell beer and other products to off-premise accounts on a defined route. The role emphasizes inventory management, display placement, and adherence to merchandising standards.

You will perform administrative duties, coordinate with the Area Sales Manager, and maintain strong customer relations while meeting sales quotas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of directly related sales and marketing experience preferred.
• Prior grocery/convenience store and/or consumer products experience a strong plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must have a cell phone with data capability for work.
• Driving record within MVR policy guidelines; Texas Driver’s License required.
• Ability to operate a two or four wheel dolly.
• Trained and certified in pallet/straddle jack and lift gate operation.
• Must handle alcohol and work within TABC Guidelines.
• Able to frequently lift up to 38 lbs, push 300 lbs dolly, lift 161 lbs kegs, and push 355 lb loaded wheelers.

Responsibilities

• Takes inventory at assigned accounts and recommends product needs to maintain stock.
• Sells displays, new products/packages, draught placements, shelf facings, POS, and price points.
• Follows merchandising standards to restock and optimize shelf space.
• Completes administrative duties like route book entries and timely syncing.
• Notifies Area Sales Manager of schedule changes, license updates, and activities.
