Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring a Route Sales Professional for the Lafayette, Indiana area. You will merchandise and stock products, build store displays, and drive sales across assigned accounts while ensuring freshness and accurate records.

You will manage route paperwork, handle cash and invoices, and maintain DOT logs. Candidates should have a valid license and be willing to obtain a DOT medical card, with 1–3 years in direct sales distribution preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Able to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Eligible to obtain Chauffeur License if location is IN/MI/TN.
• Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting and climbing.
• 1-3 years of related Direct Sales Distribution experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English with the public and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise, stock, and rotate products to ensure freshness and quality on store shelves.
• Drive sales by creating new display space and leveraging sales data for store strategies.
• Foster customer relationships, pursue new accounts, and execute promotions.
• Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space in existing and new accounts.
• Complete daily route settlements, manage invoices, cash, and inventory counts.
• Safely operate the route truck and maintain DOT daily logs.
• Submit required documentation and deposits on time.
