Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Route Sales Professional in the Mason City area to merchandise, stock, and rotate products for quality and freshness. The role drives sales with new displays and account opportunities while maintaining accurate route settlements and DOT logs.

Qualified candidates have 1–3 years in DSD preferred, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a DOT medical card requirement. The position offers a 1st shift and comprehensive benefits for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise, stock, and ensure proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays to guarantee the best quality and freshness.
• Drive sales by securing new display space, setting up incremental displays, and using sales data to inform store-level strategies.
• Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while ensuring the execution of promotions.
• Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and when pursuing new customers.
• Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash while maintaining proper inventory counts.
• Safely drive the company route truck and complete DOT daily logs.
• Submit other required documentation, paperwork, and deposits on time.
