Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring for a Route Sales Professional. The position involves stocking and rotating products, driving sales, and managing accounts on store routes.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to pass a DOT medical card, and potential Chauffer License depending on location. We offer a 1st shift starting at 3:00 am with Sundays off, and a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Successfully able to obtain Chauffer License (If job location is in IN, MI, TN).
• Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods; frequent reaching and use of fingers.
• 1-3 years of related experience in DSD (Direct Sales Distribution) preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand traffic signs and records.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise, stock, and ensure proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays to guarantee quality and freshness.
• Drive sales by securing new display space, setting up incremental displays, and using sales data for store-level strategies.
• Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while ensuring promotions execution.
• Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and new customers.
• Conduct daily route settlement procedures for products, invoices, and cash with accurate inventory counts.
• Safely drive the company route truck and complete DOT daily logs.
• Submit other required documentation, paperwork, and deposits on time.
