Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring a Route Sales Professional to join our nationwide team. The role starts on the 1st shift, with early hours and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

You will manage product placement, drive sales, and build strong customer relationships while ensuring compliance with DOT requirements across routes. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of DSD experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card and Chauffer license

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card and Chauffer License where applicable.
• 1–3 years of Direct Sales Distribution (DSD) experience preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for customer interaction and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise, stock, and ensure proper product rotation on shelves and displays.
• Drive sales by securing display space and using sales data for store strategies.
• Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships.
• Introduce new products to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts.
• Complete daily route settlements, manage invoices and cash, and keep inventory accurate.
• Safely drive the route truck and maintain DOT daily logs.
• Submit required documentation, paperwork, and deposits on time.
