Job summary

Vestis is seeking a Route Sales Representative to build solid customer relationships and drive sales growth on a defined local route. You will safely operate a step van, manage the daily route, and ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining accurate invoices and documentation.

You will develop leads, educate customers on services and pricing, and strive to exceed sales targets. Candidates should have strong math, basic computer skills, and exceptional customer service capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Customer service experience with a wide variety of clients.
• Strong math and basic computer skills required.
• Experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and use sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a company step van to serve clients in designated area.
• Manages daily route independently to ensure timely delivery.
• Loads/unloads product per policies and maintains documentation.
• Reviews invoices daily and makes corrections as needed.
• Meets sales goals and promotes route growth and profitability.
• Develops leads, calls on prospects, and assists in securing new business.
• Explains services, policies, and pricing to customers clearly.
• Monitors customer feedback and addresses issues promptly.
• Adheres to safety practices and performs other duties as required.
