Job summary

Flowers Foods seeks a Route Sales Director to lead Route Sales Supervisors, Route Sales Representatives and Trainees, cultivating customer relationships and driving route sales growth. You’ll develop and execute sales strategies, monitor performance, and collaborate with the Sales Operations Director and Market VP to expand the customer base.

Flexibility for non-traditional hours and weekends is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
• Minimum of 1 year in retail sales in food and beverage preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required, preferable in Sales or Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead Route Sales Supervisors, Route Sales Representatives and Route Sales Trainees.
• Oversee general business operations on assigned routes.
• Meet with customers to promote additional sales and brand awareness.
• Manage route performance against KPIs and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Plan and maintain regular key account visits to build rapport and sales.
• Ensure accurate route settlements, invoicing, inventory counts and cash handling.
