Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Route Sales Director to lead a team of Route Sales Supervisors, Representatives, and Trainees on company routes. You will drive sales growth, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies and DOT requirements.

The role requires flexibility for non-traditional hours, weekend and holiday coverage, and travel. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of general management experience or 1 year in retail food sales are preferred; salary ranges

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in general management or sales.
• Minimum 1 year in retail food and beverage sales.
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Sales or Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead a team of Route Sales Supervisors, Route Sales Representatives and Route Sales Trainees.
• Oversee operations on assigned routes and ensure safety and accuracy.
• Meet with customers regularly to promote sales and brand awareness.
• Analyze market conditions to identify sales opportunities and reduce costs.
• Maintain route settlements, invoicing, inventory, and cash collection compliance.
• Provide coverage on routes to ensure continuous service.
• Recruit, interview, hire and train new Route Sales staff.
