Job summary

Vestis is seeking a Route Sales Support Driver in Ottawa, IL. You will build strong customer relationships, safely operate a step van, and drive route growth.

Responsibilities include delivering products, maintaining vehicle readiness, handling invoices, and pursuing new business opportunities. The role requires a valid driver’s license, strong customer service and math skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Customer service experience with a variety of clients is required.
• Strong math skills and basic computer literacy are needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a step van to deliver products to clients.
• Verify vehicle maintenance and keep documentation up to date.
• Manage daily route to ensure timely deliveries and accuracy.
• Load/unload products per policy and guidelines.
• Review invoices daily for accuracy and corrections.
• Meet sales goals and drive route growth to increase profitability.
• Develop leads and solicit new business; install new accounts.
• Communicate pricing, services, and policies clearly to customers.
• Monitor customer feedback and address issues promptly.
