Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Route Relief Utility Driver to support our Service Departments in delivering products and collecting soiled linens across assigned routes. You will provide exceptional customer service, build strong relationships, and collaborate with service, sales, and operations teams daily.

The role requires physical capability to load/unload up to 500 lbs and lift up to 75 lbs, a valid driver’s license (CDL if applicable), and at least 2 years of customer-facing experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and, if required, CDL.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Clean driving record with no chargeable accidents or violations.
• Excellent English communication, both verbal and written.
• At least 2 years in sales, customer service, delivery, or public-facing work.
• Ability to support other team members when needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products and pick up soiled linens on assigned routes safely and on time.
• Provide outstanding customer service to build loyalty and strong relationships
• Communicate with decision-makers and proactively resolve service concerns
• Follow Service SOPs for installations, deliveries, and account management
• Maintain accurate inventories, route books, and customer files
• Handle customer payments, credits, and change orders accurately
• Monitor accounts and report customer feedback or competitive activity
• Upsell services, promote products, and refer leads to Sales
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain truck cleanliness
• Load/unload products and move carts up to 500 lbs. and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and dress code
• Collaborate with service, sales, and operations teams as a reliable relief driver
