Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Route Relief Utility Driver to support Service Departments on routes, delivering products and picking up soiled linens on time. You will build loyalty with customers, resolve service concerns, and upsell services while adhering to SOPs and maintaining accurate records.

Ideal candidates have 21+ years, a clean driving record, and at least two years in sales, customer service, or delivery. CDL when applicable; English communication skills required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License; CDL when applicable; must be 21 or older
• Driving record clean of chargeable accidents, speeding, or other violations
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; ability to understand and follow directions
• Two years of relevant experience in sales, customer service, delivery, or public-facing work
• Support for other service team members when required

Responsibilities

• Deliver products and pick up soiled linens on assigned routes safely and on time
• Provide outstanding customer service to build loyalty and strong relationships
• Communicate with decision-makers and proactively resolve service concerns
• Follow Service SOPs for installations, deliveries, and account management
• Maintain accurate inventories, route books, and customer files
• Handle customer payments, credits, and change orders accurately
• Monitor accounts and report customer feedback or competitive activity
• Upsell services, promote products, and refer leads to Sales
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain truck cleanliness
• Load/unload products and move carts up to 500 lbs. and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and dress code
• Collaborate with service, sales, and operations teams as a reliable relief driver
