Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Route Relief Utility Driver to support our Service Departments by delivering products and picking up soiled linens on assigned routes. You will provide outstanding customer service, upsell services, and collaborate with sales and operations to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role requires a valid driver's license (CDL if applicable), a clean driving record, and at least two years in sales, customer service, or delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license; CDL if applicable; must be 21+ years old.
• Driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding, safety or other violations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; able to comprehend and follow directions.
• Two years of relevant experience in sales, customer service, delivery, or public facing work.
• Support for other service team members where required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products and pick up soiled linens on assigned routes safely and on time.
• Provide outstanding customer service to build loyalty and strong relationships.
• Communicate with decision-makers and resolve service concerns.
• Follow Service SOPs for installations, deliveries, and account management.
• Maintain accurate inventories, route books, and customer files.
• Handle customer payments, credits, and change orders accurately.
• Upsell services, promote products, and refer leads to Sales.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain truck cleanliness.
• Load/unload products and move carts up to 500 lbs. and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and dress code.
• Collaborate with service, sales, and operations teams as a reliable relief driver.
