Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Route Relief/Utility RSR to support the Service Department by covering routes, delivering textiles, and delivering superior customer service. You will up-sell and cross-sell our lines of service and report to the District Manager.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and 1+ year driving and customer service experience. The role involves daily route work, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced industrial laundry environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and be 21 years or older.
• Clean driving record with no chargeable accidents or violations.
• Excellent skills in customer service and route sales.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and time management.
• Recognize colors, sizes and types of product and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of a Route Sales Representative and related tasks.
• Learn and support all routes; run routes as needed for holidays or vacancies.
• Assist in rush deliveries, renewals, audits, training and other tasks as directed by supervision.
• Solicit new customers and up-sell/cross-sell across all lines of service or product.
• Actively participate in promotions, contests, training and audits.
• Follow company policies regarding new customers and service expectations.
• Ensure customer loyalty and outstanding service; build relationships and resolve concerns.
• Safely operate a delivery vehicle; maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform inspections.
• Handle and process customer payments; keep route paperwork current.
• Ensure timely deliveries and proper inventory; service facility maintenance products.
• Monitor competitive activity; keep service agreements current and renewed.
• Return from route and off-load textiles; manage inventory in accounts.
