Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a Logistics Analyst in Tyngsborough, MA to coordinate drivers, trucks, and containers, optimize routes, and improve customer satisfaction. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and data-driven decisions to maximize profitability.

You will analyze daily routing, respond to same-day changes, and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries while maintaining strong communication with drivers and customers. A background in Dispatcher roles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Skillful with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Ability to understand and execute time-sensitive tasks.
• Experience in a customer-facing position.
• Two years of prior experience working in a Dispatcher or similar leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee drivers, trucks, and containers to maximize productivity.
• Analyze daily route information and improve routing efficiency.
• Respond to missed pickups and service commitments by scheduling customers.
• Maintain on-time pickup and delivery by verifying route data for accuracy.
• Proactively manage driver safety and security of company assets.
• Collect, interpret and analyze logistics data to improve routing accuracy.
• Communicate with drivers to evaluate route progress and provide necessary information.
• Evaluate driver performance and address concerns for resolution.
• Understand route sequencing to drive efficiency.
• Create routes with maximized capacity and review loads per driver to maximize profitability.
• Monitor routing activities and resolve issues to ensure service commitments.
• Identify swing routes and opportunities for improved service.
• Monitor swing percentages to identify improvement opportunities.
• Adapt plans today and tomorrow to unexpected changes.
• Understand daily disposal plans to optimize disposal site assignments.
• Discuss disposal plans with Operations Manager and update for intercompany changes.
• Respond to service requests with efficient scheduling and customer satisfaction in mind.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
