Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Logistics Analyst to coordinate drivers, trucks, and containers, ensuring safe, efficient service and high customer satisfaction. You will analyze routing data, adjust routes, monitor driver performance, and collaborate with Operations to improve daily operations and on-time pickups.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience in a dispatcher or leadership role, and proficiency with routing platforms and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Strong written and verbal communication is expected.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Experience in a customer-facing position is preferred.
• Two years of Dispatcher or leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee drivers, trucks, and containers to maximize capacity and productivity.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Analyze daily route information and implement routing improvements.
• Respond to missed pickups and service commitments; reschedule customers as needed.
• Communicate with drivers to provide route updates and necessary information.
• Evaluate and address driver performance issues and route effectiveness.
• Create routes with maximized capacity and review loads per driver per day.
